Day One

Wednesday marked the start of my new journey. Not wearing makeup made me feel more bare then I am used to. I began wearing makeup almost everyday in middle school. Taking on this challenge proved to be difficult on the first day, especially since I am also very pale at the moment and I feel as though my insecurities are more pronounced than ever.

Another difficult thing was not havng caffeine. Since my body was dependent on having it everyday, I began to experience withdrawals, such as a headache.

What I was successful at was getting a full 8 hours of sleep, which felt so great considering my body never gets that much. I also ate breakfast, which helped me with my snacking habits throughout the day. Another thing was reaching my water goal! Even though I had to go to the bathroom multiple times during class, it was worth it.

Finally, I decided I would start to try and eat healthier for lunch. What I decided to do for that was to pack fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as an uncrustable. I did this because I felt like my everyday school lunch wasn’t the healthiest.
